Our Values & Commitments
Rooted in ethics. Aligned with nature. Powered by women.
Who We Are
Women’s Circle of Malaysia (WCM) is a women-led wellness and education company (Sdn Bhd) creating grassroots healing, creative learning, and ecological connection through breathwork, storytelling, movement, and nature-based experiences.
We are not a tax-exempt NGO or a government-certified social enterprise.
We are something deeper. Something living.
A self-sustaining, community-rooted platform offering real impact — without bureaucracy or buzzwords.
This is our invitation to partners:
If your values truly align with ESG and SDG commitments — partner with women, not just paperwork.
♻️ Our ESG Commitments

Environmental (E): Healing Through Ecological Connection
We design our programmes with the land — not just on it.
Our nature-based healing work restores not only bodies and emotions, but also relationships with the Earth.
What this looks like:
• Women’s wellness offerings held in natural environments (waterfalls, jungle trails, eco-farms)
• Grassroots partnerships with Orang Asli communities and traditional knowledge holders
• Low-waste gatherings with minimalist, land-conscious setups
• Nature immersion as a form of ecological education and stewardship
Relevant SDGs

Social (S): Wellness as Equity and Grassroots Education
We believe healing is a social justice issue — and that grassroots education is a powerful tool for reclaiming voice, choice, and connection. Our work centres emotional safety, peer-to-peer learning, and culturally rooted storytelling — not institutionalised wellness or top-down instruction.
What this looks like:
• Affordable access to healing and learning
• Creative education programme for teens aged 13–17
• Peer-led learning circles, story-sharing, and ritual without hierarchy
• Facilitators with lived experience, not academic authority
• Community-first partnerships with local collectives and educators
Relevant SDGs

Governance (G): Transparent, Decentralised, and Community-Led
We operate with radical transparency and deep listening — not compliance for the sake of it, but accountability to the women and communities we serve.
What this looks like:
• Up to 70% of retreat fees go directly to grassroots facilitators and community partners
• Clear, documented ethics of consent, cultural respect, and reciprocity
• Circle-led programming with no top-down “experts” or hierarchies
• Registered as a private limited company (Sdn Bhd) to enable self-sustaining, long-term operations

Our Position in the Ecosystem
We sit at the intersection of :
- Community Wellness
- Grassroots Education
- Arts and Culture
- Environmental Consciousness
Women’s Circle of Malaysia (WCM) exists outside traditional categories, and intentionally so. We are not an NGO. We are a mission-led, women-powered company that creates real social and environmental value through creative, embodied, and nature-based experiences.
Our structure as a private company (Sdn Bhd) allows us to be both nimble and ethical, offering programmes that are community-rootes, self-sustaining, and culturally grounded. We collaborate directly with local facilitators, Indigenous women, and grassroots educators, often redirecting the majority of programme earnings into the communities we work with.
We are proof that a wellness company can be regenerative, not extractive.
That women’s healing work can be ethically led, financially fair, and socially inclusive.
And that you do not need tax exemption status to create measurable impact and meaningful change.
This is not a loophole. It’s a challenge to funders, brands, and institutions:
Support the work, not just the paperwork.
